Established over 20 years ago, the International Internship Program enables students from all over the world to acquire highly relevant professional experience in Spain, combined with an elite education from a top ranked institution.
International institutions, such as the UNESCO, Nestle, Movistar, Santander Bank, Repsol and influential organizations such as the Spanish Congress, are just some examples of the places that students will be able to visit and gain work experience in.
As an International Internship Program student, you will be part of the CESINE Design & Business School, a private higher education institution established in 1993. CESINE Design & Business School is ranked as the 3rd best university in Spain for International Experience by Pricewaterhouse Coopers and Education First. CESINE also has the QS Stars Accreditation, with 5 stars rating in teaching staff and campus facilities, becoming the second university in Spain to receive this recognition.

Work, learn, discover
A first semester of intensive academic training that takes place on the CESINE campus, followed by a semester of professional internship undertaken abroad in cities such as London, Paris, New York, Boston, Shanghai, San Francisco, Berlin, Amsterdam, Dublin and Toronto; to name but a few.
Companies and institutions such as UNESCO, Bloomberg, Hilton Hotels, JCDecaux, The New York Times, Marriott, Ogilvy and Unilever are among the international organisations in which CESINE students are able to carry out internships and obtain first-rate professional experience.
Santander is famous for its beaches, picturesque landscapes, surfing and skiing tradition. Moreover it is a city steeped in history and cultural activity. It has a great college tradition and offers an excellent student environment, abundant extracurricular activities and a lively social scene.
CESINE Design & Business School is located in the university area of Santander (northern Spain), close to the city center and only 500 metres from beaches, parks and golf courses. Santander is also a member of the French club: “Le club des plus belles baies du monde”
The program strives to obtain the following learning outcomes:
- Develop the creativity of students in order to improve their skills as professionals of commercial conception.
- Analyse the most important current trends of corporate and advertising design, implementing product improvement ideas in the sector.
- Understand the different visual communication strategies and the flow of ideas in the field of design.
- Develop the necessary communication skills to be successful in the defense of ideas, products and portfolios in order to increase their likelihood of success.
- Evaluate student capacity when applying the principles learned in this
program in a simulated environment.

Our student accommodation is located in a unique and privileged environment, with spectacular views of the Bay of Santander. It has the most modern facilities and a few minutes walk from our university campus, the Sardinero beaches and the city center.

Types of accommodation
Double room
All shared rooms are en-suite and fully equipped with comfortable beds, desks, and storage space. You can have meals or cook individually or with friends. They include weekly cleaning service.
This type of room is the most recommended, since it facilitates the integration of first-year students and avoids risks of exclusion. Thanks to an analysis of personality we seek affinities between them to accommodate them with whom they share tastes and hobbies.
Single room
If you are looking to have your own bedroom, we have a limited number of single rooms available. They have study space, desk and chair, a private bathroom and storage space.
Includes weekly cleaning service, as well as bed linen upon arrival, pillow, set of sheets, blankets and towel set.
Shared apartment
If you are looking for an extra independence, we have shared apartments for students. All of them completely renovated with the maximum comfort. They have study spaces, desks, bathroom and storage spaces, living room with television, high speed internet, kitchen with dining room, etc.
Includes weekly cleaning service, as well as bed linen upon arrival, pillow, set of sheets, blankets and towel set.
All students have access to our classrooms, common spaces, study rooms, outdoor areas and social events so it is easy to meet and connect with other students.
Admission Requirements
1. The application form completed in detail, with examination records certified
by school authorities, attested photocopies of all additional educational
qualifications already obtained and English or Spanish language translations of qualifications not issued in English or Spanish.
2. Letter of recommendation, signed by academic referee and sealed in an
envelope marked “Confidential”.
3. Detailed Curriculum Vitae (If the student has professional experience).
4. Three recent passport size photographs, signed on the back.
5. Photocopy of original passport or birth certificate.
