What Will You Learn
Course 1: Russian Alphabet
Russian has its form of the alphabet which is arguably very difficult to understand. In this course, you will learn the basics of the Russian language. This basic part consists of learning about the structure of the Russian alphabet, how to write and read in Russian, how to pronounce Russian words, recognize particular sounds and words in speech.
Course 2: Russian for Beginners 1
In this chapter, you will learn vocabulary, phonetics (pronunciation), grammar and some examples of simple dialogues in Russian. By studying this chapter, you will understand simple narrative and interrogative sentences, the formation of Russian names, the three genders of nouns, the difference between Russian adjectives and adverbs.
Course 3: Russian for Beginners 2
The material in this section includes the main Russian verbs of movement, Present and Future tense, the formation of Genitive, Dative, and Prepositional case of Russian nouns, pronouns, and adjectives; the formation of cardinal and ordinal numerals. You will also learn everyday vocabulary on various topics such as shopping, traveling, life, and personal activities.
Course 4: Russian for Beginners 3
As you enter this stage, you will begin to use the Russian alphabet more intensely. You will study Russian verbs which denotes the object`s location, the verbs, the formation and use of Instrumental and Prepositional case of Russian nouns, the formation of the Imperative, the use of different types from conversational phrases.
All of this material that you have studied will help you better understand the basic theories and rules of Russian phonetics and grammar; acquire basic conversation vocabulary, read simple texts, and conversation on everyday topics such as family, hobbies, travel, activities, and holidays.
