Accommodation

ACG sources homestay families from throughout New Zealand and thoroughly vets them to ensure students receive the best possible accommodation during their stay.
Students are placed either individually or in pairs in a host family, unless otherwise requested.

ACG Homestay accommodation includes:
Monday–Sunday: Breakfast and dinner provided by host family
Note that the cost for lunch each day (calculated at NZD15 per day) is included in the total tour cost.

We attempt to find host families close to the college so students can walk to school, although this cannot be guaranteed. Students should allow for a minimum cost of NZD100 per week for public transport costs, if required.

Should a student wish to change homestays, a three-day notice period applies and a change fee of NZD100 is charged.

Airport transfers

An ACG transfer person will meet students as they arrive at the airport. ACG takes care of transportation from the airport to each student’s homestay location, and back again upon departure. ACG will also provide assistance with departure procedures at the airport
